Kim Kardashian West Talks Scott Disick, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Family Loves and Supports Him

Kim Kardashian West recently dished about sister Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick. Kim is glad Scott is finally getting the help he has so desperately needed for a very long time.

“Every time we [see him], he’s back to his old self and he’s so happy,” Kardashian West says in a new issue of People magazine. “But it’s an adjustment. I don’t want to say anything too soon.”

Don’t think for a minute, however, that this is any indication Kim Kardashian West wants Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick to get back together. In fact, she believes exactly the opposite.

“It’s been the same cycle with those two, the same issues and the same cycle for 10 years,” she explains. “Kourtney finally stood up for herself and said, ‘I have kids now and I don’t want to be a bad example for them.’ She really has taken that stand and been so amazing.”

“I admire how she’s wanted to just make the right decisions. And I love to see her journey. It’s a hard one right now, but I think it’s bettering the family,” she adds.

Kim Kardashian West is the first member of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family to confirm that Scott Disick is no longer in rehab full time. He is still receiving treatment as an outpatient, however.

“He’s tried [rehab] a couple of times [before],” she says. “But this [most recent stay was] the first time he’s ever spent weeks and weeks somewhere. We love Scott, and we’re so happy he’s getting help. We hope for the best.

Are you surprised to learn that Scott Disick is out of full time rehab? Do you think he will worm his way back into Kourtney Kardashian’s life?

It doesn’t seem like he’ll have great luck with that, as long as Kim Kardashian West is looking out for her sister and her children.
